Idana leads the Player of the Season Award contest

Nyasa Big Bullets midfielder Chimwemwe Idana is the odds-on favourite player to win Player of the Season Award.

Considering the votes to date, Idana leads with Silver Strikers midfielder Blessings Tembo coming second.

Idana had a wonderful season being one of the key players who has helped the People's to win the 2020/21 TNM Super League for the third time in a row.

The player has been involved in most goals Bullets have scored and provided more assists than any other midfielder in the Super League.

While Blessings Tembo helped the Capital City giants to have a stiff competition with the league winners, Nyasa Big Bullets.

After making a surprise return to Silver Strikers, Tembo has won more Man of the Match (MOTM) Awards as compared to other midfielders.

Other players contesting for Player of the Season Award are Vitumbiko Kumwenda, Lloyd Njaliwa and Yamikani Chester.

The winner of the award will receive a brand new Mazda Demio which has K3.5 million UGI insurance cover.
