SILVER'S TITLE DEFENCE POSSIBLE AFTER EKHAYA WIN

Silver Strikers have officially declared war on FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Wanderers to fight for the TNM Super League in a Tri-giants battle after beating Ekhaya FC 1-0 to move three points behind the top two with a game-in-hand at the Mpira Stadium on Wednesday.

The Bankers have made hopes of defending the league possible now sfter increasing their chances of winning it thanks to Emmanuel Allan's 8th goal of the season in the 6th minute to seal the win.

Assistant coach for the Bankers, Mapopa Msukwa, thanked his boys for the job well done in Blantyre and said they will fight until the end.

''We are focusing on one game at a time, our next assignment is to face Karonga so we will see how it will end to check our way forward,'' said Msukwa.

Meanwhile, he hailed his strikers at the team that they are giving them what they want as everyone delivers once trusted to do the job.
