CRECK SCORE 8 TO MOVE THIRD
Creck Sporting Club have moved up to third in the TNM Super League standings thanks to an 8-0 thumping over 10-man Baka City at the Aubrey Dimba Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
George Chaomba scored a hat trick to take his tally to 10 in the League while Harvey Nasiyaya, Arnold Kiyama, Yamikani Tambala and Peter Godfrey bagged a goal each as the rookies recorded a biggest win in the TNM Super League this season.
Head coach for Creck Sporting Club, Joseph Kamwendo, said they came hard because Baka City has embarrassed them twice in their meetings as they also knocked them out of the FDH Bank Cup.
"We played them 1-1 in the first round and they knocked us out of the FDH Bank Cup so we planned to come strong as this is our home and thanks to the boys, they responded well and we got this big win." Said Kamwendo.
Creck Sporting Club are now third in the league standings with 26 points from 16 games in the TNM Super League.
