DEMAKUDE FIRES BANGWE TO A WIN
Felix Demakude netted a brilliant from 9 minutes from the time as Bangwe All Stars start their life at the Balaka Stadium with a win and a massive performance as they beat Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos 2-1 at the Balaka Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The relegation zone side were in top form in the match as James Msowoya fired them ahead but Ibrahim Sadick cancelled it out in the first half before Demakude's masterclass to hand Stars an important three points as they look to move out of the relegation zone in the second round of the League.
Head coach Rodgers Yasin, applauded his boys for their impressive performance in the game and said this is what they have been planning to do this season.
"We thank God for the victory, the boys played very well and this is what we have been wanting to do but people were underrating us, you can see today, we have surprised our opponents because they did not expect this and I'm happy for the win." Said Yasin.
Bangwe have moved a step up to 14 points on the table with 12 points from 16 games, three points to move out of the relegation zone while Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos are 11th with 19 points from 16 games as well.
