CHAWINGA RANKED AHEAD OF JAMES AND KERR IN GOAL50

Scorchers captain, Tabitha Chawinga, has been ranked fourth in the GOAL50 Top 10 Best Women's Players of 2023 ahead of Chelsea's and England's forward, Laureen James.

The list is released by one of the media outlets, GOAL.COM, and has recommended Chawinga after having an impressive performance in Italy with Inter Milan where she won the golden boot and player of the tournament award.

Meanwhile, Zambia's Rachael Kundakwanji came first while Asisat Oshoala of Barcelona women and Nigeria was second with Linda Caicedo of Real Madrid coming third.

James came out fifth behind Chawinga whereas Ballon d'Or second placed star, Sam Kerr was placed 9th on the list.
