"BULLETS NOT FULLY READY FOR CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE" - PASUWA
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach, Callisto Pasuwa, said his team would struggle as far as CAF Champions League is concerned saying the team still lacks experience to match heavyweights in the tournament.
Pasuwa said this in an interview with 2 FM saying a quality of a team that need to thrill in the continental tournament should be complete and his team lacks that.
"There are some things that we are not rectifying when playing in the CAF Champions League. We need to make that correction. In every department, we need to be strong to compete against teams like Mamelodi Sundowns, and Moroccan teams that we play against [in CAF]. " Said Pasuwa.
He further said his team performs better locally but makes childish mistakes that can be solved only if they have experience players in each department when playing in the tournament.

"BULLETS NOT AFFECTED BY MISSING PLAYERS" - PASUWA
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach, Callisto Pasuwa, said his team was not affected by the absence of 13 players who are suffering from flu saying the team failed to show on the ground.
Pasuwa said this after their 0-0 draw against Mighty Waka Waka Tigers to collect just two points from possible 6 and said his team did not come to the party on Saturday.
"It was a tough game as we didn't do better in the middle of the park and slowly in build ups so that affected us not to get much spaces and create chances that could have been goals. I said we need to be a complete team and we are still learning." Said Pasuwa.
He further said he did not miss the players as ever player signed by Bullets should be ready to play when needed by the team.
Bullets are 9th on the table with two points taken from two games. They have scored just one goal and conceded one as well.
NO HISTORY IN FOOTBALL FOR PASUWA
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach, Callisto Pasuwa, has downplayed the fact they have dominated Mighty Waka Waka Tigers for the past 13 years saying history has no effect in Football.
The Zimbabwean tactician was speaking to the team's media on Friday ahead of Saturday's match against the Kau Kau boys at the Kamuzu Stadium and he said Tigers is one of the teams that gives them headache when playing them.
"I think in Football we don't talk history but the amunition that you are having in that particular year, if you prepare yourself to do go you will do good, I think it's one of the things we have to look at ourselves if we are prepared to face Tigers. This is one of the teams that gives us a tollid time because they prepare on everything in the game," highlighted Pasuwa.
The Kau Kau boys have lastly beaten the People's team on 20 August 2011 where they won 0-3 at the Kamuzu Stadium and in 13 years, their best result has been a draw.
BULLETS STRIKE ANOTHER DEAL
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets has entered into an agreement with Paramount Concrete Company that will be awarding player of match with a miniature and K75,000.
This has been disclosed during a press conference held by the team on Friday where the signing of the contracts between the two companies was done.
Chief Executive Officer at Paramount Concrete Products, Arthur Kalinde, Said Bullets gives them a platform to get their products known to people as it is a big brand. He said he will be hoping to come back again when the contract ends after this season.
Meanwhile, Chief Administration Officer at Bullets, Albert Chigoga, said their award winning brand is an attraction to other companies to partner the team and the team will work with every company partnering with them.
The first recipient of the award will be known on Saturday as FCB Nyasa Big Bullets play Mighty Waka Waka Tigers at the Kamuzu Stadium.

"DE JONGH WAS RIGHT ON OFFICIATION" - PASUWA
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets head coach, Callisto Pasuwa, was left fuming at the Dedza Stadium after his team drew 1-1 against Dedza Dynamos on Saturday afternoon.
The Zimbabwean cautioned officiation that it has not protected the team's player at times leading to serious injuries on them.
"I should talk about officiation, I think De Jongh and other guys who left talked about it. This is not Football and it's not making Football in Malawi professional, you see our players gets injured with no protection from the referee, see we lost Phodo today but nothing happened but when it's on our side, a card was flashed and it's causing injuries on our players." Said Pasuwa.
The team dropped manages to pick a point on Dedza Dynamos last season and has now failed to win at the Dedza Stadium when playing Dynamos. The People's team are fifth with a point.

"I WANT TO HELP THE YOUNGSTERS" - ROONEY
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets new signing, Ronald Chitiyo, says he wants to help youngsters at the team as his experience will help them learn from him.
Rooney, as he is nicknamed, said this on Tuesday during a signing ceremony where he penned a three year deal and said it is a challenge to play for Bullets as they want to win.
"I'm very happy to join one of the best teams in Malawi. Yes I'm experienced and I want to help the youngsters because the team has a lot of youngsters so I will help them. Playing for Bullets is a challenge because I have found them already winning so I need to work so that they should be winning also." Said Chitiyo.
He further said the league in Malawi has improved but he will work hard to perform better.
The 31 year old Zimbabwean midfielder impressed a Callisto Pasuwa led panel during trials in the Pre-Season and failed to sign a contract together with Colin Mujuru as he lost his mother last week.

MUNTHALI PRAISES MUJURU
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Second Assistant Coach, Heston Munthali, has praised the newly signed defender, Collin Mujuru after his brilliant showing in the team's Charity Shield victory against Silver Strikers on Saturday.
Mujuru played the whole game at the back partnering with Blessings Mpokera and Munthali believes that the Zimbabwean will be a big hub for the team this season.
"He is a very good player, very composed and good on the ball, I think he will give us something.The combination with his fellow defenders was very good and he had a good game." Said Munthali.
Mujuru completed his move to the People's team on Thursday after impressing the team's technical panel during trials in the Pre-Season trainings.
He was handed a debut together with Yamikani Mologeni, Chikumbutso Salima, Matthews Masamba and Innocent Nyasulu.
BULLETS DEFENDS THE CHARITY SHIELD
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets has won the NBS Charity Shield yet again for the 6th time after beating Silver Strikers 7-6 on penalties following a goalless draw in the regulation time.
The Bankers had a chance to win the game after Precious Sambani missed Bullets' first penalty but Duncan Nyoni hit the post and Gift Chunga failed to win it again after Ernest Petro had missed his penalty before Innocent Nyasulu saving Chikondi Kamanga's penalty to win the game.
This was Peter Mponda's first meeting against Bullets since leaving the People's team in the early last year.
"WE ARE NOT FULLY PREPARED IN THE PRE-SEASON" - PASUWA
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets coach, Callisto Pasuwa, says his team is not fully prepared due to absence of some other players during the Pre-Season but says they are ready to play Silver Strikers.
The Zimbabwean tactician said this ahead of the Charity Shield match against the Bankers on Saturday where he said this match will help new faces to experience the feeling at the team.
"This is the first match of the season which shows how much prepared you are mostly during the Pre-Season in fact, last season we had some players going out for injured and I think they were in Zimbabwe for treatments and have not started playing and the national team took 11-10 players away so when preparing you need all players available and I would say we haven't prepared well in the Pre-Season, I stay with the boys for only two weeks." Said Pasuwa.
He further said he is happy with the progress of Peter Mponda and that he is expecting to endure a tough time

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets captain, Precious Sambani, says the 2024 season is going to be a tough one as many teams will come stronger than last season.
Sambani spoke ahead of the 2024 season kick starter against Silver Strikers in the NBS Charity Shield on Saturday saying the team is having no pressure from the technical panel to shine in the season.
"It's going to be tough season considering on how we performed last season and team will look to win also trophies but as usual, we have set the same spirit that we are good roll back and also the technical panel is not going us any pressure but rather confidence so that confidence will make us do better in the season." Said Sambani.
Ahead of their match against Silver Strikers, he said the team is facing a team that knows them following the presence of Peter Mponda and they will work hard to win the game.

BULLETS SIGN FORMER SPANISH BASED STAR
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets announced the signing of a 20 year old attacker, Sean McBrams, who has been training with the team.
McBrams was in Spain with CD Olympic Academy before returning home for studies where he has captained Kalibu Academy for the past three years.
The youngster who has also trained with Italian teams has impressed Callisto Pasuwa's panel and players as a midfielder and a striker.
The People's team has made the announcement today about their 6th signing of the Window who has penned a one year deal.
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets has confirmed the signing of Zimbabwean defender Colin Mujuru.
The 26 year old has penned a three year deal with the People's team after impressing during trials at the team.
"PASUWA HAS BEEN TEACHING ME" - MASAMBA
FCB Nyasa Big Bullets new signing, Matthews Masamba, said he is very happy to pen a three year deal with the People's team and feels special to be part of the team.
Masamba said this on Wednesday after putting on paper and hailed the team's mentor, Callisto Pasuwa for teaching him on areas to improve.
"The weeks I spent here doing trials gave me the courage to keep pushing and I have a clear picture of what is expected of me. Pasuwa has been teaching me where to improve and how to do it and this is something that will improve my game going forward." Said Masamba.
Meanwhile, he further he is looking forward to have a brilliant season ahead and said he has been welcomed well by his new teammates.
The player was bought by Mighty Mukuru Wanderers in 2022 from Bangwe All Stars and in 2023 he was loaned back to Bangwe before releasing him at the end of the season.

Pasuwa prophesied Kondowe's journey!
One can confirm now that the best number in the country is Ephraim Kondowe. Others might think it's a lie, well, the former Mighty Mukuru Wanderers forward is the only local based Striker in Patrick Mabedi's Flames squad.
Meanwhile, Kondowe is living in Pasuwa's prophesy. After the conclusion of the famous treble winning season, the Zimbabwean tactician had a word to him.
"Pasuwa told me that if I continue playing the way I am, I will soon play outside Malawi and I will be a regular at Flames." Kondowe told our publication in December.
Found in a marshy place, muddy and in tears, Pasuwa picked Kondowe from nowhere after being released the Nomads and now has turned him into a Flames Striker and the best number 9 in Malawi.
HARRISON WANTS TO TEST STRENGTH AT BULLETS
Mark Harrison's side, UD Songo, will play Malawi's champions, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets after the Mozambican counterparts have invited the People's team for a strength testing match to be played on 23rd March 2024.
Bullets' chief administrative officer, Albert Chigoga, has confirmed the news saying this will help the team have an international match before this season's kick off.
Meanwhile, UD Songo will play for every logistics in the part of Bullets interns of transportation and accommodation.
The two teams have been in good terms as Bullets was inviting UD Songo for an international bonanza in the past years. The Mozambican side head coach, Harrison, was with Mighty Mukuru Wanderers, Bullets' arch rivals, from 2022.
